- 1 pound of gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)
- 3 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs (for topping)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook gnocchi in boiling salted water until they float, then drain.
- Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, and cook until golden. Gradually add milk, whisking until thickened. Stir in seasonings and cheese until melted.
- Combine cooked gnocchi with cheese sauce in a mixing bowl.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), pour the mixture into a greased baking dish, top with cheese and breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
