Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
- Add the cold butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese.
- In another bowl, combine the shredded beef, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.
- Roll out the biscuit dough and cut into circles, placing half on a baking sheet.
- Add beef mixture to each circle, top with another circle, and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding herbs to the dough.
- These biscuits can be served with additional beef broth for dipping.
