Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cooked roast beef, shredded
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Add the cold butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Fold in the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  5. In another bowl, combine the shredded beef, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder.
  6. Roll out the biscuit dough and cut into circles, placing half on a baking sheet.
  7. Add beef mixture to each circle, top with another circle, and seal the edges.
  8. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
