Ingredients
Scale
Before we jump into cooking, let’s gather our ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 8 slices of bacon, cut in half
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar (optional for sweetness)
These ingredients are easy to find in your local grocery store. I love using fresh green beans, but you can also use frozen ones in a pinch. Just make sure to thaw and dry them!
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Wash and trim the green beans.
- Wrap 4-5 green beans with a half slice of bacon and secure if needed.
- Place bundles on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil, and season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and optional brown sugar.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bacon is crispy and green beans are tender.
- Remove from oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh green beans for best results, but frozen can work if thawed.
- Adjust seasoning according to your taste.
