Deliciously crispy cheese balls packed with creamy cheese, bacon, and a hint of spice from jalapenos.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked bacon, chopped
  • 23 jalapenos, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and bacon in a bowl until creamy.
  2. Fold in jalapenos and green onions.
  3. Scoop and roll mixture into balls, about 20-25.
  4. Set up coating station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  5. Coat each ball in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs.
  6. Fry cheese balls in hot oil for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
