Ingredients

- 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons sweet paprika
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 4 cups beef broth
- 3 medium potatoes, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a large pot, sear beef cubes until browned.
- Remove beef, sauté onions until translucent, then add garlic.
- Stir in paprika and caraway seeds, then add bell pepper and tomatoes.
- Return beef to the pot, add broth, boil, then simmer for 1.5 hours.
- Add potatoes, season, cover, and simmer for another 30 minutes until tender.

- Adjust spices according to taste.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
