- 1 large loaf of artisan bread (about 1 pound)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and chop parsley if using.
- Mix softened butter and minced garlic in a bowl until combined.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
- Slice the artisan bread diagonally into 1-inch thick pieces without cutting all the way through.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture generously between each slice.
- Wrap the bread in aluminum foil and bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Unwrap the bread and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until crispy.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm.
