- 2 large apples, peeled and diced

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add flour, salt, and baking powder, mixing until just combined.
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan and press the shortbread mixture evenly into the bottom.
- Combine diced apples with cinnamon, nutmeg, and brown sugar in a bowl. Toss to coat.
- Spread the apple mixture over the shortbread base evenly.
- Mix oats with any remaining shortbread mixture and sprinkle over the apples.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
- Cool for at least 10 minutes, then slice into bars and serve.
