Before we jump into the cooking process, let’s gather our ingredients. You will need:
- 2 cans of refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
- 2 cups of peeled and sliced apples (Granny Smith works great!)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup of cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- Butter for greasing the pan
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Open the cinnamon rolls and slice them into quarters.
- Mix apples with ground cinnamon and brown sugar in a bowl.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.
- Layer cinnamon roll pieces, half of the apple mixture, and half of the cream cheese mixture. Repeat layers and finish with cinnamon roll pieces.
- Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
- Drizzle with icing and let cool before serving.

- Feel free to add chopped nuts for extra crunch.
- Allow the dish to cool slightly before serving for better slicing.
