  • 2 cups of peeled and sliced apples (Granny Smith works great!)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup of cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • Butter for greasing the pan

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Open the cinnamon rolls and slice them into quarters.
  3. Mix apples with ground cinnamon and brown sugar in a bowl.
  4. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with butter.
  6. Layer cinnamon roll pieces, half of the apple mixture, and half of the cream cheese mixture. Repeat layers and finish with cinnamon roll pieces.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle with icing and let cool before serving.
